Epping Forest Heritage Trust is closely following the guidance set out by the Government, Public Health England and the City of London (who manage the Forest).
We have taken the difficult decision to close our Epping Forest Visitor Centre at High Beach, and cancel upcoming walks and events until further notice, to prioritise the welfare of our staff, volunteers, supporters and members of the public and to help limit the spread of the virus.
Epping Forest remains open for the public to enjoy. Access to some car parks may be restricted.
If you are a member of the Trust we would like to express our wholehearted thanks for your ongoing support.
We recognise our vital nature is to our wellbeing and hope that you may have an opportunity to visit the Forest in a way that respects social distancing advice by Government. The health and restorative benefits of exploring the nature and wildlife on our doorsteps can help all of us.
To keep up to date with the Trust, you can follow us on our social media channels or come back to our website.
Thank you for your ongoing support, patience, and understanding at this challenging time. We look forward to welcoming you back as soon as we can.
Please take care of yourself and we wish you well in these challenging times.
